I'm going to go ahead and open this special meeting of the City Council. I'm first going to ask folks to stand up for the Pledge of Allegiance, please.

Okay, so with that, I'm going to request that we consider item 55A, which is a resolution declaring the November 5, 2019 special municipal election results official. and in particular it's award four elected officers. Do you need to say anything, Madam Clerk?

it's an honor to be sitting up here with each and every one of you. But I just want to take this opportunity to thank the voters of Santa Ana for this opportunity to serve all of the residents of Santa Ana. Wendy, the ultimate partner, the ultimate everything. And you know, at least one thing I can tell you is I promised you it wouldn't be boring, right? To mom, wish grandma was here, but I'm sure she's watching diligently as she always has.
