and council member elect mendoza present okay we're here today to uh speak on uh to hear item 55a the resolution declaring the may 19 2020 special municipal recall election results ward six elected officer madam clerk do we have any speakers on this item if you

so um i want to thank um i want to take this opportunity and first of all thank god for the opportunity he gave me to serve the residents of santa anna i also want to thank my friends and family members for their unconditional support that they've given me definitely the voters of santa anna who supported me during my tenure as a councilwoman and and thanks staff for their professionalism and support when i needed them i would like to address um the council and the mayor asking you guys to do what's right for the residents of this city

please stop voting to increase our taxes and fees as residents we cannot afford the additional charges please use our resources to benefit the residents of Santa Ana and to our police officers I want to thank you for protecting and serving our city please stay honest and true to your profession to serve and protect. I know you have a rough job, but God will protect you. And last but not least, I want to tell the leaders of the police union, specifically Jerry Serrano

and Ernie Conde, that we are watching you and will hold you accountable for all the shenanigans that you have gotten away with so far. So I just want to say, may God continue to bless you all and give you wisdom to do the right thing for Santa Ana residents. And for me, it's not a goodbye. It is until we meet again. My heart is to continue serving the residents of Santa Ana, and God willing, we'll be back in November with you. Thank you again, and have a blessed day, everyone.
